This funeral march was written for the traditional burning of the carnival puppet on mardi gras. Consisting of two parts, either part can be repeated on and on until the puppet is finally burnt down. A quite ironic view on funeral marches.

Per la fine del carnevale in austria è uso di brucciare una grande bambola che rappresentava  il carnevale in persona.  Walter Huss ha composto una marcia funebre che illustra come la bambola decade in cenere. Come il nome esagerato anche la musica parodia il carattere di ogni marce funebre.
